Why Solution Dyed Nylon?
Totally's vibrant colors are highly impervious to color fading, making our products appropriate for virtually any application. Totally carpets can be aggressively cleaned to eliminate stubborn stains and are highly resistant to chemical spills.
All Totally products are made from 100% Solution Dyed Nylon (SDN). SDN has exceptional colorfastness and high performance and is resistant to mold and mildew. It is pigmented while the nylon is still in a liquid state and then extruded into fiber. This results in colors that are integral to the fiber like the orange in a carrot; while other methods are more like the red on a radish with the color sitting on the outer layer of the fiber. SDN is resistant to stains from bleach and is ideal for a variety of applications from hospitality to corporate and healthcare.
